Mobile Shelving – Self Based Mechanically Assisted

The Self Based Mechanically Assisted Mobile Shelving operate via a steering wheel which is mounted on a console attached to each mobile trolley. The console contains a sprocket and chain drive unit which engages with a lateral chain fitted to the base of the Spacesaver. It results in a smooth positive drive requiring virtually no maintenance and giving a mechanical advantage to the operator thereby greatly reducing the effort required to move each trolley. The system is factory fitted to new units or can be retro-fitted to existing Davell units.
