It keeps your food fresh, looks classy, keeps the flies away, all while avoiding the cling wrap! And best of all? You can simply wash it along the rest of your laundry, to reuse it again and again! This is one of those simple swaps you can make to save money, while saving the planet, while looking fab! The pure cotton is unbleached, and the pretty motive is screen-printed by hand. The prints are born from a love and respect for nature, such as paying homage to the very important cornerstone species: Bees. Because it is made of natural, biodegradable materials, it is home-compostable at the end of its useful life. Only the elastic band needs to be trashed, the rest is compostable. Each set comprises of: 2 x Small round dish bowl cover (stretches up to - 8cm), to fit tins (350g – 900g), ramekins, jars, etc. Because it is unbleached cotton, you could even use it like a muslin cover for homemade ferments (think sauerkraut, kimchi, sour dough starter, yoghurt, etc.) Directions for use: Slip the cover over the dish, tin, jar or bowl. If using tins, ensure there are no sharp edges that will tear the fabric. Make sure the elastic fits over the edge of the dish, tin, jar or bowl, to ensure the cover stays in place. Hand wash or machine wash with similar colours, using a mild detergent. Do not use bleach, fabric softener or other harsh chemicals. Air dry. Store in a dry place.
