Description A truly unique and very popular design by our local cloth nappy artist, Janna Nanna, these insert-and-booster combo’s are very versatile and easy to use. It allows for full snap-in control of how absorbent you want your Snap-In-One system to be. Either use the insert alone, or combine the insert with the booster, or just use the booster. This allows the nappy to grow alongside your baby, and makes your nappy stash stretch further. The insert sets are intended to be used with the Janna Nanna softshell and bubble minky softshell covers, effectively becoming a full day-time all-in-two system. The inserts should be changed every hour or two, or when wet. One cover, along with 2 – 3 insert sets, can last you 2 – 3 changes, i.e. 3 to 6 hours, before needing to wash the cover. The inserts and the accompanying boosters are made from 100% cotton fleece. When the insert is folded and with the booster added, it comprises 12 layers of thick, absorbent cotton. Cotton, being a natural fibre, is one of the healthiest choices to have against a baby’s bottom – because it does not have the disposable nappies’ synthetic chemicals that exacerbate nappy rash! A very handy insider’s tip – these inserts also fit into most of our local WAHM snap-in-style covers. Plus, being reusable and customizable, it saves you a lot of money, trimming down the needs of your cloth nappy stash, and not to mention, saving you a fortune over disposables! Features: The set comprises of a two-part system: A snap-in insert, with a snap-in booster The style of folding the booster into the insert resembles a curvy snake, therefore it’s sometimes also called a snake-style insert The inserts consist of 4 layers of thick, soft cotton fleece, when folded over, that’s 8 absorbent layers The cotton fleece boosters consist of an additional 4 layers The booster and insert can be used combined or stand-alone, which makes it easy to customize absorption in the wet zone To be used with Janna Nanna softshell covers, although it will also fit into many other locally made covers Locally designed, locally tested, and locally made to fit local babies (unlike cheap imports made in sweat-shops designed for foreign body types) Durable, high quality fabrics made with quality workmanship – gives you a nappy you can reuse from one baby to the next, or alternatively get good second-hand resell value Saves you a fortune over disposable nappies, and less likely to lead to allergic reactions and nappy rash Kinder to the environment your baby will inherit, by reducing the number of disposable nappies sent to landfill (each disposable nappy can take 400 – 500 years to decompose, leaching microplastics and toxic chemicals into the environment) Size: OSFM (One Size Fits Most) Fits babies from about 5kg -17kg body type depending Directions for use: If using the snap-in booster with the insert, attach it into place at the narrower end of the insert, using the snap Then twist the booster so it aligns with the insert Fold the narrower part of the insert underneath the broader part of the insert (which has two snaps) Snap the broader part of the insert into a cover of your choice If using the insert without a booster, proceed as above but just leave out the booster If using only the booster, snap it directly into the cover of your choice, or don’t use the snap at all Change the insert-and-booster set after 1 – 2 hours, as necessary Change the cover after 2 – 3 uses, as necessary Spray or scrape solid waste off into the toilet and rinse Either wash the nappy after use, or place into a ventilated nappy bin, to wash up to 4 days later Can be washed by hand or machine, using a cloth-nappy-safe laundry agent Line dry only!
