It is more affordable than the standard softshell covers by Janna Nanna, and provides equal moisture-resistant protection of 8 – 12 hours. It is intended to be used as a cover over fully absorbent cloth nappies, such as prefolds, fitteds, and flats. It has a super soft, fluffy outer layer, with black waterproof softshell fleece on the inside. Because of the softness, it is perfect as a night-time cover, and also reduces the possibility of elastic burns (as opposed to PUL covers). It can also be used as an all-in-two day-time cover, by snapping an additional snake insert inside. It is suitable for chunkier babies, being very roomy and accommodating a variety of baby shapes and sizes via adjustable snaps on the outer layer. All in all, a very versatile item to have in your cloth nappy stash, and excellent value for money! Note that newborns need to be changed much more frequently than older babies because they consume such large quantities of milk, and most babies still poop at night till 3 or 4 months old.
