Description This one-size-fits-all (OSFA) birth to potty reusable cloth swimming costume means there is no need to buy different sizes as your baby grows. There are side snaps on both sides to adjust the size. The front two rows of snaps adjusts to Small 3.5-6.5 kg, Medium 7-11 kg, or Large 12-18 kg. The outer layer is PUL (polyurethane laminate), a soft, waterproof, breathable and stretchable fabric. The inner lining is made from polyester mesh. No inserts are required inside as this swim nappy is designed to contain the solids and not the wee. Size: Fits babies from -3.5 kg up to -18 kg. Directions for use: On the bum: Adjust the side and crotch snaps to fit your baby, PUL facing outwards. There are 3 rows of rise snaps in the front to adjust the crotch height, and the waist is adjustable with the snaps on either side. Since the nappies are not waterproof, only fit the nappy once you reach the pool, otherwise you might deal with little wet messes! Washing: Can be washed by hand or by machine. No need to soak nappies. Simply shake off excess solids into the toilet and leave them in your dry bucket until wash day. The most effective washing routine includes: Rinse cycle Wash on 30 to 40 degrees (a cold wash works just as well) Use a cloth-nappy-safe laundry agent so as not to damage the waterproof lining (Never use bleach, fabric softener, blousel, or other harsh chemicals with this nappy as it will damage the nappy!) Rinse again. Line dry, but do not leave in direct sunlight for extended periods as it may damage the waterproof lining (never tumble dry or iron!). Bum cream: Cloth nappies are much healthier than disposables and will lead to fewer nappy rashes; however, it can still occur. Avoid using conventional bum creams, barrier creams or petroleum jellies. The artificial and non-biodegradable chemicals affect the absorbency of your nappy and can cause build-up on the fibres, reducing the nappy’s efficiency. Instead, use coconut oil (that is naturally anti-bacterial), or a cloth friendly bum cream or lotion, if you feel the need to use something.
