Switching to a cup can be daunting, and it takes a bit of practise to master the technique to insert. Refer to instruction leaflet for details. When period starts, boil the cup in water for 10 minutes to sterilize it, or use a menstrual cup sterilising liquid and rinse well. For use, fold the cup in whichever way you prefer, take the position you prefer, then insert it into yourself. Feel to make sure the cup has sealed around the rim, if not, pull it downwards or adjust it so it seals well. Remove if you need to use the toilet, rinse and reinsert. It can be used in this way for the entire duration of the period. At the end of the period, sterilize it again and air dry before storing.
