They are absolutely the most practical option – obviously due to the colour, but also due to the quality design: the top is soft and absorbent, while the bottom has enough grip not to slide around and has excellent moisture management! It has strong and sturdy plastic clips that won’t tear off after a few uses, and won’t rust after many uses. The trims are neat, the design is spot-on, and the pad should last between 7 – 10 years. It is surprisingly affordable for the quality of workmanship… It is a real steal at this price! This one comes in the shape suitable for thongs, with a slender fit and slanted, sharp end. Because hey, don’t let that time of the month get in the way of your style! Because of the shape, it is only suitable for spotting and very light flow (although the cloth is very absorbent and waterproof). Please note it is not entirely waterproof, but comes with good moisture management to retain moisture for extended times, as well as enabling you to wick excess moisture away. This is a good trade-off between cost-effectiveness and functional performance, where both score high but neither get full marks. Directions for use: Lay the pad inside your panties / briefs, with the softshell facing up. Fold the wings underneath the panty, then clip the plastic studs firmly together. Wear as you would a disposable menstrual pad, but take it out after a few hours (typically 4 – 8), replace with another clean pad, and hand-wash it immediately under cold or luke-warm water with your choice of bar soap – either boerseep or the vegan equivalent, Castile soap, a laundry stick or laundry stain remover soap. Soak it with the soap, if necessary. If you prefer, after hand-washing you can wash a whole bunch of the pads together with your usual laundry, to make double sure any lingering residue is removed, before next use. Do not bleach, iron or tumble dry. Do not use fabric softener. Air dry to prolong the pad’s life. Store in a dry place.
