This can be useful for managing foot fatigue, soreness, or general discomfort, whether during daily routines, long walks, or more demanding activities. With built-in arch support, these insoles aim to encourage more natural foot alignment and improve comfort throughout the day. Versatile Performance Balancing Cushioning & Stability Experience the versatility of Footbionics Dual Density Orthotic insoles. Suitable for various footwear types, from sneakers to dress shoes, these insoles seamlessly integrate into your daily routine. The durable materials used in their construction ensure that they stand the test of time, providing you with long-lasting comfort and support. Don’t settle for anything less than the best – Comfort and support, redefined by Footbionics. Modern footwear, including many types of sports shoes, often fails to provide adequate support for the feet. Casual shoes, trainers with minimal structure, and dress shoes are frequently designed with appearance in mind rather than comfort or function. Poor fit or lack of support in these shoes can contribute to discomfort, fatigue, or even pain over time. Insoles can help address these shortcomings by adding the necessary cushioning and stability to promote healthier, more comfortable movement. Footbionics insoles are designed to add the support and comfort that many shoes lack. The dual-density model combines durability with advanced foams and materials, making it suitable for both athletic activity and everyday wear. Compression-moulded for long-lasting performance, these insoles fit seamlessly into most shoes, providing reliable cushioning and support throughout the day. Customising Your Footbionics Dual Density Insoles FootBionics insoles will gradually adapt to your feet with regular use. If you prefer a quicker, more personalised fit, you can heat-mould them at home so the foam contours more closely to your foot shape. Why consider heat moulding your insoles..? Personalised fit: Helps the insole conform more accurately to your unique foot shape for improved comfort. Enhanced support: A closer contour can offer better stability and cushioning, useful for both daily use and sport. How to Heat-Mould Your Footbionics Dual Density Insoles Place the insole inside your shoe to assist with initial fitting and shaping. Using a hairdryer on a low heat setting, gently warm the insole for approximately 2–3 minutes until the surface feels slightly softer. Immediately stand in your shoes and apply full weight through your feet for another 2–3 minutes while the insole cools and sets. Repeat the process for the second insole if required. Important Considerations Use gentle heat only, excessive heat can damage the insole. Always wear socks during the moulding process to protect your feet from heat. Put your shoes on straight after heating, as immediate weight-bearing is essential for the foam to mould correctly. Avoid delays once the insole is warmed, since the material begins setting quickly. Heat-moulding is optional. Insoles will still contour over time with normal wear. The Great All-Rounder These insoles are generally suitable for most running shoes; however, the existing liner will often need to be removed to create enough space. The profile of the insole is relatively large, and while it is designed to fit many types of footwear, tight-fitting dress shoes and football boots are unlikely to accommodate it comfortably. Where there is sufficient room, at Sydney Physio Clinic we consider this orthotic the ‘great all-rounder’ providing everyday support and cushioning, as well as reliable comfort in sports shoes.
