This improves comfort during use and can help reduce skin irritation, especially during longer sessions. The high-quality gel layer supports lower impedance and more even current distribution. That means smoother stimulation with reduced risk of uncomfortable hot spots. Each pad is built with durability in mind, including a robust connection area so the pad can be removed from the lead wire without tearing or damage. These pads are compatible with our Physio TENS Machine as well as most standard TENS, EMS, and medium-frequency physiotherapy machines that use a 2.0 mm pin connection. TENS Electrode Pads Use and Care To improve adhesion and performance, cleanse your skin before applying the pads. Washing with soap and water is best, and alcohol is also acceptable. Apply to clean, dry skin for best results. The number of uses depends on skin cleanliness and oiliness. Cleaning the skin before use can improve results and increase the pad’s usable life. After each use, place pads back onto the original backing and store in the original bag to protect against damage.
